  • Scott Balogh, Chairman and Founder

    Mr. Balogh is President and CEO of Mar-Bal, an integrated compounder and molder of Thermoset composite products. He serves on the boards of Flambeau Inc. and the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association (OMA), and has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Cleveland Chapter since 2004. Mr. Balogh is a Founder and Executive Producer of Modern Warrior LIVE.

  • Al Sikes, Vice-Chairman

    Mr. Sikes served as chairman of the Federal Communications Commission where he helped set the stage for the birth of new satellite, mobile, and digital television services. Mr. Sikes also served as the U.S. Administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, as well as President of Hearst Interactive Media. He is Founder of READ ALLIANCE in New York City, bringing together teens and youth to help with literacy and leadership. Mr. Sikes is a founding member of the Monty Alexander Jazz Festival in Easton, MD.

  • Debra Principi, Treasurer

    Mrs. Principi has worked with charitable organizations and women’s groups in Texas, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. for over 40 years. She serves on the Board of Directors of The Polkadot Library in Kenya and The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary in Houston. Mrs. Principi is also on the Governing Board of the Capital Speakers Club in Washington, D.C.

  • Loren Schoenberg, Secretary

    Mr. Schoenberg is the founding Director of The National Jazz Museum in Harlem. He is a two-time GRAMMY award-winning writer, pianist, saxophonist, and bandleader. Mr. Schoenberg is on the faculty at The Juilliard School, and currently serves as Senior Scholar to The National Jazz Museum in Harlem. He is the author of The NPR Curious Listener’s Guide to Jazz.

  • Dr. Jerry Sue Thornton

    Dr. Jerry Sue Thornton served as Cuyahoga Community College’s president from 1992 to 2013, During her tenure, enrollment grew 40 percent, she led $300 million worth of renovation and construction projects, and increased the college’s foundation from $1.3 million to $40 million. She currently serves as President of DreamCatcher Education Consulting, a firm focused on coaching and professional development for newly selected college and university presidents.

  • Terry Stewart

    Mr. Stewart was the longest-running President and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. He also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Marvel Entertainment Group and was named CNBC Marketing Executive of the Year. Mr. Stewart currently serves as Chairman of the board of El Dorado Festivals & Events (EFEI) in El Dorado, Arkansas.

  • Dominick Farinacci, Founder

    Mr. Farinacci is an internationally acclaimed artist and Founder of Modern Warrior LIVE. He has released 14 albums internationally and was a member of The Juilliard School’s inaugural class of their Jazz Studies program. In 2013, Wynton Marsalis named Mr. Farinacci Ambassador to Jazz at Lincoln Center. Music icon Quincy Jones says of Dominick’s accomplishments in performance, recording, education, and advocacy: “Dominick is 360 degrees!”

  • Jaymes Poling, Founder

    Mr. Poling is Founder of Modern Warrior LIVE. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 17 and was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, North Carolina as an infantryman. During his eight years with the division, Jaymes spent three years fighting in Afghanistan as a machine gunner and squad leader. After his honorable discharge, Jaymes earned a finance degree at John Carroll University in May 2018. His focus now is sharing his journey with members of the military community and partnering with organizations to help veterans find their own peace after war.

  • Walter Booker

    Mr. Booker is a U.S. Military veteran who completed two combat deployments during his eight years of active duty as an infantryman in the Marine Corps. He then joined the Army, spending 12 additional years as an infantryman with four additional deployments. Mr. Booker ended his military career as an instructor with the Army's Training and Doctrine Command. Currently, Mr. Booker is a behavioral health specialist with K-8 scholars in the Cleveland Municipal School District.

  • Danielle Krakora

    Ms. Krakora, a ten-year US Army veteran, is CEO and co-founder at Ibility LLC. Ms. Krakora previously served as Product Manager for Digital Solutions in the VA Office of Information and Technology. Ms. Krakora developed the Make-a-Thon Model for building community partnerships aimed at increasing opportunities for external and academic institutions to collaborate with VA employees, and to provide expertise in support of specialized veteran solutions.

  • Stacy Banks, Founder

    Ms. Banks’ career as a critical care nurse has served Modern Warrior LIVE well. From its inception, Ms. Banks has provided leadership to launch and sustain the growth of the organization. She worked at Columbus Children's Hospital for 15 years in Infectious Disease and Pediatric Intensive Care. Mr. Banks is a Founder and Executive Producer of Modern Warrior LIVE.

  • Patrick A. Palmieri, Ph. D.

    Dr. Palmieri is a clinical psychologist and Director of the Traumatic Stress Center at Summa Health System in Akron, OH. He holds an appointment as Professor of Psychiatry at Northeast Ohio Medical University and is an adjunct professor of Psychology at Kent State University.
